The Big Beach Bang is Southend’s premier fireworks event, taking place every November at East Beach in Shoeburyness. Attracting thousands of visitors, the evening offers an unforgettable mix of entertainment and community spirit.
Every ticket sold helps support local charities, meaning your attendance not only grants access to a night of fun and excitement, but also makes a real difference in the community. This event simply wouldn’t be possible without the dedication of volunteers, the support of spectators, and the continued involvement of local residents.
The display is organised by Southend Round Table 106, entirely on a voluntary basis, and stands as one of their most important fundraising efforts. Planning takes more than ten months and builds on decades of experience dating back to their earliest events at Southend United’s Roots Hall Stadium in the 1970s.
This year’s event was a tremendous success, delivering a fantastic evening and raising an impressive sum for local charitable causes.
